Tastin’ n Racin’ has become one of the Northwest’s premier festivals. Now
celebrating its 16th year, Tastin' n Racin' features food booths,
arts and crafts and select commercial products. For entertainment, you will find two days of APBA boat racing with hydros and PWC
racing, live bands, two beer gardens, kids play
area (with climbing walls, inflatable toys, etc),
custom car and hot boat shows and lots more family fun. We continually work on our show to make it the biggest and best.
Once again, 2012 will feature Unlimited
Hydroplanes, both vintage and turbine! That means, there is two days full of different action, and something for everyone!
2010 we broke all attendance records with
nearly 60,000 (per State Park
Count) people coming out to 74 degree weather and clear blue skies.
With the spring rains, the grounds were very wet,
and therefore closed most of the on site parking,
but the crowds still came parking up to 1/2 mile
away!!! Now that is dedication to an event!!! This has shown Tastin’ n Racin’ planners that we are on the right track!!. Tastin’ n Racin’ is promoted by Seattle radio station KZOK, the Seattle Times,
Reporter Papers and associate papers and
the new social media avenues, to name a few (see media page). Promotion could not be better and crowds are expected to be even greater! The festival brings together three things that excite people- food, shopping and entertainment. This creates the perfect combination to make for a fun and profitable weekend for vendors.
